It is clear that our reliance on imported fossil fuels is no longer sustainable, due to environmental concerns, increasingly volatile energy prices and declining reserves. Collectively, these factors have put Ireland in a position where the development and deployment of renewable and other domestic sources of energy is no longer desirable but imperative.

At Glanpower we take such global energy and environmental issues seriously and try to apply them to how we operate locally. We believe that the only sustainable future for energy, and for society as a whole, is a clean, green future.
Our simple aim is to produce energy which is dependable, cost-effective, environmentally responsible, and which is derived from renewable sources.

In order to achieve this, we make every possible use of innovative, cutting edge technology with proven green credentials. In supporting and developing innovative Irish and other manufacturing and technologies such as pyrolysis, we believe that we can help to create a new chapter in Ireland’s energy market, from a fossil fuel dependent, environmentally unsustainable, high cost scenario, to one of self-reliance, renewability, responsibility and efficiency in all our energy requirements.
